About Me

Hi! One of the first things that you may have noticed is the unique spelling of my name! No, it is not a typo, it is definitely spelled with an “a” at the end (its on the birth certificate). While it may look different and you might be imagining all sorts of exotic ways to say it, the “a” is actually silent and you can call me Stephania, pronounced just like regular ol’ “Stephanie”. Now that we have that cleared up, here is a bit more about me: I love coffee. I love my family. I love Jesus. I love to laugh. I love to read. I love board games. I love the fall season. I love going to the zoo. I love photography(but you knew that, right?). I love my job. My passion is to provide tangible memories for all of my clients that become heirloom portraits for their family. Babies, children and high school seniors grab my attention and are some of my favorite subjects to photograph. “Real” family portraits that don’t feel like portraits make me smile. I get warm fuzzies when I look at newborn photos and my heart jumps at an image of a 2 year old cracking up with laughter. Am I sentimental? Absolutely.  I wouldn’t have it any other way. My work is about bringing a moment in time, a glimpse of a memory, or an emotion, into your home as a moment, memory or emotion frozen in time, that can be picked up and revisited time and time again.  :)
